Quercetin

Therapeutic Category: Decrease capillary fragility; Quercetin derivatives are being used for cancer therapy. It has been also used as an anti-oxidant.

 

Description: Quercetin is a bioflavonoid from a natural origin presented as a powder of orange to orange-yellow color. It is odorless and tasteless.

It becomes anhidrous when dried at 95oC to 97oC and decomposes at 314oC. One gram of the product dissolves in 350ml of alcohol at room temperature and in 30ml of boiling alcohol. Soluble in acetic glacial acid and alkaline solutions. Not soluble in water.

Packaging: The usual packaging is 25kg net cartoon box with a polyethylene bag inside.

 

Note: Packaging must be kept well closed and protected from light (photosensitive).
